Yesterday I was reading a article about pligg on techcrunch and thought of giving pligg a shot. I was amazed that it took me less than 10 minutes to set up a digg clone. Check out the - digg clone I set up using pligg

It has lot of nice features like ajax effects, clean interface, collapsed menus , user points and what not.

You can also set up a digg clone yourself using readme file that comes with the installation or any tutorial available online

Its great how so many open source systems are coming up. So far I have tried Drupal, joomla, mambo and pligg and found drupal to be the best cms in terms of features and customization.

It seems now setting up a cool site is not at all difficult but matters is what is there on the site and how well you market your product.
